Litter Annoucements

Every breeding done here at Stonecoat is 100% planned and intentional. We pride ourselves on maintaining proper management of all our dogs to prevent so called “oops” litters. Most of our litters are planned months in advance with lots of pedigree, working ability and health research backing our decisions. 99% of our breedings take place with proper progesterone testing via our reproductive vet to ensure optimal timing and known whelp dates for our bitches. This reduces risks associated with breeding. We never just breed blindly. You won’t find us breeding mixes or dogs without health testing either. We purposefully breed for preservation of the purebred dog.

We had two litters in 2024 and didn’t even make a dent in our waitlist. So we hope to have an extra litter in 2025 to provide our customers with their long awaited livestock guardian.

Please note our waitlist is usually 12-24 months long. Sometimes it can be less and sometimes longer, it all depends on litter size, appropriate placement and if the bitch comes into heat and gets pregnant as planned. If you are not willing to wait, then we advise you look elsewhere.

Planned Litters of 2024

We have a litter due January 8th 2024. Unless it’s a larger than expected litter, it is fully reserved.

We will be breeding Yeni to Rock.

Asena to Brew (as this pairing did not take place in 2023).

We will also repeat the Piper -Hush pairing as the pups proved to have excellent structure and wonderful working minds.

Will be posting pictures and individual health results here in January for your viewing.

All of these litters have deposits. We will be accepting a couple more deposits before closing reservations. If interested in applying for one of these pups or 2025 pups please email or call.

Litters of 2023

We are planning three litters in 2023. Early 2023 we will be breeding Katana to Kankuro and Piper to Hush. We will also have a late fall litter tbd. Expected litter dates are IF the girls come in season as expected. Could be slightly sooner or later than months given below.

Katana and Kankuro litter spring 2023. should be a mostly fawn litter, possible pinto and/or Black and Tan.

Katana whelped a gorgeous litter in May. All pups are spoken for and have gone to their new homes.

PLANNED Summer 2023 LITTER WITH PIPER AND HUSH. STRONG WORKING INSTINCTS, POSSIBLE BLACK AND TAN. this litter was whelped in july and is fully reserved.

Fall 2023 litter with asena and brew. strong working ability. FAWNS AND POSSIBLE LIVER EXPECTED.

2022 LITTERS

2022 LITTER- Wicked whelped a beautiful litter on November 16th. Litter is spoken for.

PLANNED LITTER OF 2022 WICKED AND PUCK. EXPECTED AROUND NOVEMBER.

In 2021, our two breedings did not go as planned. Our current waitlist is over 25, to accommodate our customers that have been patiently waiting for our genetics we are considering a third breeding and possibly a co-breeding as well.
