Aries is a dark sable male we retained from the 2020 Mina-Puck litter. We absolutely LOVE the consistency this cross produced and we have retained a few from these breedings. They consistently display a gentle nature, athletic ability, sound minds and superior working ability. Most of the puppies from this cross went to first time Anatolian owners where they are successfully guarding hoofed stock and poultry with little direction from their Shepherds. They are easily managed and respect fences, display proper discernment and are exceptionally kind with children and small stock.
We started importing from Aslanda Goutte Noire Kangal in France in 2016 with the goal of bringing in genetics with more “pack mentality.” Our Lucky Hit foundation lines display quite a bit of same sex aggression and we wanted to improve upon that, while keeping the wonderful working ability and structure that Lucky Hit also gave to our program. We believe we accomplished just that!! Aries works full time with goats and poultry, with two of his brothers, all intact, without issue. The only time they even mildly disagree is feeding time, when they all want to be first in line!
Mina is the first female, in our 30 year program, that we have ever bred three times!! That should speak volumes on how we feel about the dogs produced by the Mina-Puck cross. Although Aries has not yet entered the show ring due to lack of time, he has powerful, correct structure.
