Kimura is a fawn bitch that we retained from our Kaya~Puck breeding. We knew the working ability from this cross was going to be superior and it was. We retained a few pups from this breeding because of the natural working ability that was apparent at a young age. Kimura is a large and beautiful bitch. She has a very strong head with correct eyes and ears. She has so much balance and correctness we are thrilled to have her as part of our program. Her working demeanor is wonderful. She is a fierce guardian who can’t stand the smell of predators close by. She has been known to run them off any way she can!
Kimura is a large, well-built female with a strong head and an intelligent eye.
Kimura has been a natural with the goats since she was a young pup. Of course our number one criteria when breeding is working ability. Without a strong focus on working ability it will be lost over time.
Kimura’s wonderful, correct structure earned her her AKC Championship in just a couple shows. She has a nice deep chest and correct shoulder. A proper front assembly is something many Anatolians lack. Pictured here the day she earned her Championship at just over a year old.
Kimura uses licking and cleaning goats as a way of bonding with them.
Kimura loves to check the perimeter and see if she can smell any intruders. Look at her muscular rear! She has a great broad thigh and correct turn of stifle.
Kimura showing a perfect and proper response to an unruly young doe. These are the types of working behaviors we look for in our breeding dogs. Correct working behaviors and responses are paramount when breeding to preserve the breed.
After being corrected by the goats, Kimura lays low……..
Even as a young pup she had a gorgeous head!!
Pictured here at about 8 months, showing nice balance between front and rear. Good depth of thigh and curve of stifle.
Pictured here at 6 months old, again showing lovely balance and even growth with appropriate angulation. One thing I look for in our breeding stock is a dog with overall balance. So many Anatolians look like two dogs pieced together, large front with a small rear. That is a structural flaw I stay away from. Kimura also has nice cat feet.
Kimura shown here at 8 week old evaluations. Notice her lovely correct topline even at 8 weeks old. She also has correct angles front and rear, nothing overdone.
